The First Harvest

Today the garden found its way into our kitchen, yet again

While this is not new, this was first one after I started logging every day, this project got created yesterday. Today, I am in a position to log every day, but this was my first log.

The harvest was a bowl of young fenugreek (menthya)seedlings grown from seed. They were harvested fresh and became part of the sambar prepared for our family.

It wasn't a large harvest. It wasn't meant to be.

Every productive garden begins with moments like this. Today the garden completed its first cycle:

Seed → Plant → Harvest → Meal

This journal exists to remember those moments.
